We are delighted to be teaching our Chair Massage Course in Sussex. This accredited and certificated one-day workshop in Chair Massage is also known as On-Site Massage or Seated Massage. Chair Massage is a highly versatile and practical massage technique to learn. It offers great flexibility and options for increasing your massage income with its adaptability to be taken into the workplace; corporate events; the ever-popular festivals; summer events and pamper parties.
Where can I apply Chair Massage?
The techniques you learn on this Chair Massage Course can be applied through clothes. This can be ideal to take into company workplaces to help staff who may be feeling tired, stressed and/or run down. This in turn can help their overall well-being and work performance. It can also be applied in the treatment room as a short relaxing massage. This could be especially beneficial for people who may have problems lying down on a massage couch, for example, pregnant women and clients with mobility problems.
What will I learn?
You will learn a comprehensive 20-30 minute Chair Massage routine. This can be extended or shortened if required. You will also be taught how to apply this massage using oils directly on the skin. We will work on the following areas. Back – lower, middle and upper. Arms. Neck and Face.
This certificated Onsite Chair Massage course is FHT accredited.
You should be a fully qualified practitioner of body/holistic/therapeutic or Swedish massage. You are welcome to bring your own On-site massage chair to the course. Please let us know if you are planning to do this.
